The Meeting of Monterey Cultural Council took place Nov 19 4pm at General Store.
Minutes were approved with two corrections:
1. Previous awardees must apply for reimbursement directly to Barbara Gauthier, Accountant.
2.This year's PASS applicant can apply to the Yellow School Bus for total trip money to go to Plymouth Plantaion.
Maureen presented a schedule for Open Studio preparations:
1. Wendy has engaged a map maker to draw locations for studio tour. John will create and distribute number signs at each house to coordinate with map.
2. Susan will distribute ten postcards for mailing to each exhibitor. She will also email both the council and exhibitors instructions and schedule of the day's events.
(At present, we have 8 exhibitors in church basement, and 11 open studios!)
3. Friday, Jason Brown, Michael Banner, and John Heffernan will bring panels from town shed to church for exhibiting. Lynne, Maureen, Wendy, and Sue (?) meet at church Friday 4pm to help set up.
4. Cider and Donuts have already been ordered to be delivered to church Sat. Lynne will remind Kenn.
5. Brochures will be printed by Wendy, and distributed the day of the tour.
6. Lynne to contact Mary Kate re: key to church basement, and all other requirements.
Treasurer's Report presented by John. It was approved by the committee.
Next meeting: Monday, November 29th at General Store, 5pm. (note change in time, and place...Town Hall is taken by Selectmen meeting)
